Vintage has worked with various underground artists including a remix for legendary C. L. Smooth and guest appearances with Sadat X (Brand Nubian). In the 90’s, Vintage found his sound and name which laid the foundation of who he is today.
Some of his previous work has been reminded of sounds similar to RZA and DJ Premier. His major influences in hip hop are DJ Premier, 9th Wonder and Madlib.
Vintage infuses boom bap drums with the elements of anything retro from Soul, Funk, Rock and Jazz music. From analog to digital he has learned to intertwine the two which could only take him up to the next level and stay relevant in today‘s culture. Currently, he is working on projects with upcoming artists and opening new doors for expansion in the media industry.
You can also find him gearing up to perform and spin his music live at local venues. To bring the old with the new like a holy matrimony and uplift through beats is the vision of vintage.
